Reopening of the Royal Opera of Versailles.
Closed for two years, the Royal Opera Versalles Castle reopens its doors September 21, 2009.
The restoration work has been aimed at cleaning the sets but also to return the building to the new fire standards (the last work on this point having been made in the '50s).
A program is scheduled from December to June: Theatre (Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme, The Imaginary Invalid), ballet (Shinbaï), operas (Barbara Hendricks, Mozart), concerts (Camille, Juliette Greco) ... Everybody can find his account and come and spend an exceptional evening in this magical place!
